Dan DeBoer, CMT

Dan, a Certified Massage Therapist, studied through the Global College of Natural Medicine and then underwent extensive massage training at Kalamazoo Center of Healing Arts. He practiced on his own before being hired in January, 2011 by Dr. Frett.

Dan reports: "I am really excited to be working with Dr. Deb; and I'm looking forward to assisting her patients in their healing process and getting to know each of you".

Dan moved to Kalamazoo from New Jersey when he was 12 years old. His father was a pastor in the Christian Reformed Church.

After graduating from Kalamazoo Christian Schools in 1979, he became a co-owner of Uncle Ernie's Pancake House -  and a few years later owned Maggie's Cafe.

His first studies in college included machine tool operation; and he worked for 7 years at National Waterlift Company as a valve technician.

After starting and operating yet another new business called Windmill Acres Greenhouses which he operated for 10 years, Dan and his wife Jan, (a nurse at Bronson Hospital) and he, homeschooled their 4 children - who will all be in college in 2012.

Dan enjoys working on building their family home, farming, raising and boarding horses, gardening, teaching, mentoring in public schools, outreach ministries with his church, and preaching in different churches.
